On Tuesday afternoon, Tohickon took on Holicong Middle School in their 2nd district game, and 5th overall game of the season. Once again, the Golden Eagles we able to get on the board first with a goal in 11th minute.. Nearing the end of the 1st half, Holicong was able to tie it up with a impressive shot from 12 yards out. The 1st half ended with the score 1-1. 

Starting the second half, Holicong and Tohickon went back and forth with scoring opportunities but neither team was able to capitalize.  15 minutes into the 2nd half, Holicong played a ball up to their striker who headed up and over goalie Grant Christie.  The goal was unlucky for Tohickon but nevertheless, Holicong took the lead 2-1.  Tohickon came back strong and pressed Holicong with 3-4 scoring opportunities and eventually found the equalizer with 3 minutes left to tie the game 2-2.  With a minute left and Holicong attacking, a ball was sent over the head of the Tohickon defense to an offsides Holicong attacker. The whistle remained silent and Holicong scored a goal, which ended up being the game winner. Holicong won 3-2 in a great game that had many exciting moments and a very high quality of soccer. This loss was Tohickon's second, and dropped their record to 3-2.  Tohickon takes on Lenape Middle School on Monday, looking to break the losing streak!
