On Monday afternoon, Tohickon took on Lenape Middle School in their 3rd district match and 6th game of the season. Tohickon was eager to break their two game losing streak and play stronger with a playoff bid possible.  Tohickon had quite a few opportunities in the first half, but wasn't able to capitalize on any of them. The 1st half ended in a 0-0 draw with both teams unable to finish scoring opportunities.

The second half started with a quick but beautiful Tohickon goal from Justin Bardwell in the 31st minute. 7 minutes later, Jason Lee added another goal to make the score 2-0. Tohickon was very much in control of the game. In the 50th minute, Lenape took advantage of defensive mistakes and was able to put a goal on the board and put the pressure back on Tohickon. Despite this, Tohickon answered back 5 minutes later with a Jason Lee goal (2nd of the game) and increased the score to 3-1. In an aggressive and intense game, Tohickon played strong and had its best outing of the season in a 3-1 win over Lenape Middle School.  The Golden Eagles improved to 4-2, and face Log College Middle School on Wednesday looking to create a winning streak. Many players had an excellent game, but Brian Cruz Perez was a stone wall for the Golden Eagles defense and was named man of the match.
