On Wednesday afternoon, the Golden Eagles took on Log College Middle School in a non-divisional match up. Tohickon, coming off a 3-1 win over Lenape Middle School, was looking to continue their winning streak and make a push for the CB Playoffs. 

The Eagles started the game controlling the middle of the field, but were on unable to finish. Tohickon's defense held strong and denied Log College any opportunities to score. Midfielder Sean Malat played a great ball to striker Jason Lee, but the goal keeper made a phenomenal save to keep Tohickon from scoring its 1st goal. Despite a few more break-aways and great crosses, Tohickon struggled to find the back of the net and the first half ended in a 0-0 tie.

Going into the second half, the Golden Eagles were able to strike gold in the 40th minute with a Jason Lee goal.  Following this, Log College was able to find some offensive power and threatened with 2-3 scoring opportunities but was unsuccessful. With 5 minutes left, Jason Lee recorded his second goal with a strong finish from 10 yards out.  The game ended with Tohickon gaining another victory and improving to 5-2 on the season. Tohickon takes on a very strong Klinger MS tomorrow, at Tohickon @ 3:15.
