On Monday afternoon in Warrington, the Tohickon 8^th Grade Boys Soccer Team traveled to Tamanend Middle School for their first match of the season.  Lead by Captains Ben Bridegum, Ben Fuhrmeister, and Koen Reid, the Golden Eagles captured a win by the score of 2-1. The scoring started our with goal in the 15^th minute by Michael “Piano” Panno.  Later in the first half, the Golden Eagles found the back of the net again after Anthony Picariello took a shot that rebounded off a Tamanend defender and went into the net.  Tamanend was able to get on the scoreboard, via a penalty shot in the 48^th minute in the second half. With 12 minutes left, the Golden Eagles defense stiffened up and held out to win the game. The Man of the Match was Koen Reid for his strong defense and leadership on the field. Great work Koen!
